CDG Zig x DBS PayLah – CNY Deal Campaign

This campaign was part of CDG Zig’s bi-weekly digital promotion cycle, highlighting merchant and partner offers within the app. For Chinese New Year, I worked closely with the Marketing Team and Customer Loyalty Program Team to develop a co-branded campaign with DBS PayLah, rolled out across multiple digital platforms.

To capture the festive spirit while staying on-brand, I created a custom Key Visual featuring a specially designed dragon illustration — built from scratch to represent the Year of the Dragon and not sourced from stock. This gave the campaign a distinctive look that stood out across channels and aligned with CDG Zig’s visual identity.

Design Approach

  1. Cultural Relevance Through Custom Visuals
    The dragon graphic was designed in-house, not pulled from stock, to reflect the Year of the Dragon with a fresh, brand-aligned look that felt premium and celebratory.
  2. Scroll-Friendly Content Flow
    Each layout was built to capture attention fast, leading with the strongest deals and using visual hierarchy to keep users engaged throughout.
  3. Festive but Brand-Consistent
    CNY elements were introduced tastefully, ensuring the visuals remained celebratory without straying from CDG Zig’s clean, modern design tone.
  4. Cross-Platform Adaptability
    Designs were adapted to suit each platform’s format and behavior, ensuring visual consistency across EDM, IG/FB, XiaoHongShu, TikTok, and landing pages.
