CDG Zig – Youth Icon Pins
for Goodie Bags

As part of the same project for ComfortDelGro Taxi’s student goodie bags, I developed a set of CDG Zig pin badgesalongside the sticker designs. During the process, selected icons from the sticker set were adapted into circular badge formats, transforming them into fun, wearable brand items for secondary school students.
I carefully resized and refined each symbol to fit within the pin layout, ensuring they remained clear, balanced, and visually impactful at a smaller scale. Special attention was given to layout alignment and safe margins, preventing any key details from being cropped or misaligned during production.

My Role & Responsibilities

  • Adapted sticker symbols into circular pin badge formats
  • Resized and rebalanced visual elements for clean printing
  • Ensured all designs fit safely within the pin cut area
  • Delivered print-ready artwork aligned to production specs

Design Approach

  1. Realignment for a New Format
Each symbol was adjusted — not just scaled down — to fit within the pin layout, ensuring that details stayed visible and nothing felt squeezed.
  2. Print-Ready Accuracy
I checked spacing, bleed, and edge positioning to make sure no visual elements were unintentionally cut off during pin manufacturing.
  3. Cohesive with the Sticker Set
While formatted differently, the pins retained the same youthful, expressive vibe as the sticker series — reinforcing brand consistency across all giveaway items.

How It Helped the Brand

  • Provided a collectible, wearable brand item for students
  • Strengthened brand recall through tactile, fun merchandise
  • Extended existing visual assets into a multi-format campaign piec
