CDG Zig – Merchants Deals (Christmas Campaign)

This festive campaign promoted exclusive Christmas perks and discounts from CDG Zig’s featured merchants. The objective was to present deals in a way that felt seasonal, attractive, and consistent with CDG Zig’s wider Christmas communications — across social media, eDM, and Chinese channels like XiaoHongShu.

My Role

  • KV Design & Visual Theme:
    • Developed a cohesive Key Visual (KV) system for the campaign that captured a cheerful, festive look, while allowing enough flexibility to highlight individual merchant promos
    ‍• Created campaignidentity sed consistently across all related platforms
  • Content Strategy:
    • Collaborated with the marketing team and copywriter to propose how to best frame the promotional message for visibility and engagement
    ‍• Suggested visual and content enhancements to ensure the promo mechanics were clear and attractive
  • Social Media Execution:
    • Designed a carousel layout that seamlessly featured multiple merchants while maintaining visual rhythm and clarity
    ‍• Adapted the visuals and content flow for the Chinese version on XiaoHongShu, working closely with the Chinese copywriter
  • EDM Layout Strategy:
    • Planned a content structure for the email that clearly explained the promo mechanism and allowed users to scan deals quickly
    ‍• Designed a layout that was visually festive but uncluttered, translated and implemented within CleverTap for eDM deployment

Design Approach

  • Consistent Festive Identity: Ensured visuals matched the broader CDG Zig Christmas branding, while giving this merchant campaign its own recognisable style
  • Content Hierarchy: Built layouts that highlighted key mechanics and benefits first, followed by merchant details
  • Platform-Adaptive Design: Created assets optimized for IG carousel flow, email readability, and XHS styling preferences
