As part of a design competition jointly held by LASALLE College of the Arts and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Singapore, students were invited to envision Marina Bay as a vibrant work-live-play district. One of the key initiatives was to design outdoor posters for public display along the Marina Bay Promenade. My concept was among the selected entries, and the final design was produced and displayed along the promenade for public viewing.

My Role & Responsibilities
- Participated as a design student representing LASALLE in the URA collaboration
- Conceptualized an original poster design based on the brief to imagine the future of Marina Bay
- My concept visualized the area as a connected, high-tech circuit board — symbolizing how Marina Bay integrates innovation, work, life, and leisure into a singular global hub
- My design was selected for production and featured publicly along the Marina Promenade for a period
Design Approach
- Unified Visual Metaphor: Used the idea of a circuit board to represent connectedness, vibrancy, and future possibilities
- Theme Integration: Merged elements of technology, urban life, and nature into one cohesive visual
- Public Space Consideration: Designed with high visibility and accessibility in mind, ensuring visual impact in an outdoor setting

Design Approach
- It was a meaningful opportunity to see how design could be part of public space and urban storytelling
- I was grateful that my design was selected for display along the Marina Bay Promenade, among many strong submissions
